How To Reduce Arm Fat : Top 5 Easy And Quick Exercises At Home

1. Weight Lifting

It is a well-tested exercise to reduce arm fat and give you toned arms. It even reduces belly fat strengthening the core. Just select an item to use as a weight for this exercise or just take a bottle of 2 liter water bottle. But if you have dumbbells, then this works perfectly. Now lift it over your head keeping the arms straight and lower it taking this behind your back (as low as possible). Again bring the weight over the head and make sure you keep the arms close to your head and ears. Do 3 sets of 20 reps which means 60 times. You can take a small break after each rep. Try to increase the weight or number of reps every week.

2. Chair Dips

It tones the arms and back as well. All you need to do is to choose a bed or a chair which should stay stable on the floor. Anything that is at least 2 feet above ground should be chosen. Keep around 3 feet of space in front of the chosen item. Facing away from the item, keep your both hands on it with some distance in between. Now move few steps away from the chair keeping the upper body straight; this is your position. Now bend the knees to match the height of the chair. Bend the elbows and slowly move towards the ground. Come back to the previous position; repeat 3 sets of 20 reps which again mean 60 reps.

3. Counter Pushups

It tones arms using a table. Stand by facing the table you chose and keep the arms on the edge of the table with feet on the floor. Now move backwards till you feel your body is leaning on your toe tips. Keep your back straight and balance on the feet. Bend the elbows slowly and come downwards till you come closer to the table. Then straighten the elbows and come back to the previous position. This is a single rep and you need to do 3 sets of 20 reps. You can take a small break after each rep initially.

4. Pushups

There’s no doubt that pushups are the ab workouts and that gives toned arms with strong core. It strengthens muscles; but however this is difficult to do initially. So, initially you can do it by balancing on the knees instead of toes. Sleep upside down with hands beside your head palms down. Taking the support of the knees push your body upwards; keep the spine straight. Do 3 sets of 20 reps every day. You can later try to do it on your toes instead of knees.

5. Scissors

It can be really easy to perform this exercise. This is one of the best cardio workouts to lose weight. Stand straight and lift the arms to your shoulder’s height in front of you. Stretch your arms sideways and bring them back in front of you; the right hand should be overlapped to the left which resembles like a scissors. Again stretch them sideways and bring them front into scissors position again; this time your left arms should overlap to the right. This is a single rep and you need to do 3 sets of 10 reps daily.

Few Tips To Tone Your Arms And Lose Weight

1. Counting calories is important. Target losing a fixed number of calories every day.

2. Keep yourself hydrated always. Drink plenty of water and avoid alcoholic and sugary beverages.

3. Never skip breakfast whatever may happen.

4. Eating in small portions 5 to 8 times a day instead of eating large portions of food thrice a day is better.

5. Skip eating unhealthy snacks which contains sugar, salt and unwanted calories.
